The goal of the Workshop REMOO-2011 (Regional Energy Mix and Outlook Options 2011) is to provide an international forum to present, review and discuss the update of the current energy status and outlook for the near future of the South-Eastern European (SEE) Region, together with general energy dilemmas, contemporary issues of energy supply and investments in the energy mix of the Region as well as possible technical and economical options for sustainable development with the 2011 theme of Regional Co-Operation with Focus on CO2-Free Energy Options. These issues are subject of invited lectures that have been presented by distinguished speakers from governments, utilities, industry and regulatory commissions. The Workshop was opened by high representative of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Croatia.

Information
Zagreb is the capital and the largest city of the Republic of Croatia. It is in the Northwest of the country, along the Sava river, at the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain and lies at an elevation of approximately 122 m above sea level. Zagreb`s population was 786,200 in October 2010.
The climate is classified as an oceanic climate, near the boundary of the humid continental climate. The average daily temperature in April is between 8 and 17 grad C. Zagreb lies in the Central European Time zone (GMT+1),
